Best Friend PoemWhat are best friends for? What is it that they do? What could they possibly have to do with me? What makes a “Best Friend”? Why aren’t all friends the best? Best friends are for those times when you just need that one person to be there. They bring you out of that slump and can’t help but make you smile. I personally have a Best Friend who is always there for me. My Best Friend is made up of curly brown hair, an awesome smile, and an amazing heart. SmilesThe smile on her face is such a wonderful thing. Always glowing, ever inviting; bringing you in and not letting go.Smiles
It leads to her eyes, vivid and shining. Look deep and look long; gaze into their vastness.
It brightens her face with radiant joy.
Oh how she seems to illuminate everything.
Even while she isn’t here the traces of it linger. Burned into my brain; a lasting memory.
When I can not see the smile anymore, I long for it. For when we are reunited a smile of my own becomes ignited.
